What’s the Fragment Made Out Of?

Let’s dive straight in! Constructed with lightweight nylon ripstop fabrics, the Fragment is a robust bivvy designed to withstand general wear and tear. Ripstop fabrics are more resistant to tearing and ripping and can reduce the spread of any small tears that may occur.

The footprint and poles are both light and durable making them easy to transport to your favourite fishing spots. The footprint is made of PVC offering waterproof protection and flexibility while the poles are made of aluminium which are built to last for many fishing trips to come.

Is It Waterproof?

With a Hydrostatic Head rating of 10,000mm, the bivvy is fully waterproof and can endure heavy downpours and snow. Hydrostatic Head is a measurement of how waterproof a fabric is. The millimetre rating represents how high a column of water standing on the fabric would need to be before water would seep into the fabric.

What Other Features Are There?

The bivvy features a detachable peak which can be easily fitted in seconds and prevents any rainwater from going inside the tent on rainy days. It’s perfect for sunny days too when you need some shade. There’s also an integrated vent which can be accessed from inside or outside the bivvy.

Inside the bivvy, there’s plenty of space with storage lofts to keep essentials, such as clothing, off the floor while the PVC groundsheet adds a layer between you and the ground.
