There are a number of local fishing spots including Rishton Reservoir, located a little east of Blackburn, well known for its coarse fishing. There are two fishing locations close by controlled by Hyndburn & Blackburn Angling Association, consisting of two connected fishing reservoirs - Big Rishton Reservoir and Little Rishton Reservoir, with stunning scenery and lots of quiet that makes for a relaxing fishing experience. It is worth noting that these are members only Fishing Waters and all rules and restrictions must be adhered to in accordance with the association.
