Do you have any questions about our service or an item you have ordered? This section deals with some frequently asked questions and answers. We will always do our best to resolve any queries and issues quickly and fairly. If you cannot find the help you need, please contact our staff via support@fishingrepublic.com or call 0800 808 5570.

HOW LONG WILL MY DELIVERY TAKE?

At Fishing Republic, we have negotiated special services with our preferred couriers.  The courier will be determined at checkout; Depending on location and size of order your order will take between 1 and 7 working days for delivery.  Once dispatched you will receive a tracking number from the courier and a dispatch note from ourselves. You can track your order via the courier’s website.

WHAT OF I CHANGE MY MIND OR ORDERED THE WRONG ITEM?

Rights of Cancellation: A buyer who is a consumer has the right to cancel the contract with the Company at any time within 14 days of receiving the order.

If you do not want the item, change your mind or ordered the wrong item then you can return it for a full refund as long as it is in the original packaging and unused. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for more details on your cancellation rights.

Please include a cover note providing your order number and the reason for returning the item. You will be required to pay the return postage and we will refund the cost of the item only.

WHAT IF MY ITEM ARRIVES BROKEN OR FAULTY WITHIN THE FIRST 28 DAYS?

If you have received a faulty item or the item breaks within the first 28 days, then please first email support@fishingrepublic.com as some items require different procedures.  We may ask for photographic evidence, which can be emailed to us.  The photo must show the fault on the item.  We will accept camera, mobile phone, tablet or any other type of picture as long as the picture is clear enough to see the fault.   If you require a refund only, we will arrange for a pre-paid returns label to be sent to you via email. Once the item has been returned back to us, we will arrange for a refund or replacement.

WHAT IF I WANT TO ORDER MY ITEM OVER THE PHONE?

Fishing Republic does accept telephone orders but please be advised that there is a minimum £20.00 spend. Postage will also be charged at £6.50 for general items and £10.00 for poles.  For overseas shipping rates please see our Delivery Information page.

WHERE IS MY REFUND?

We aim to process all refunds the same day of agreement, but can take up to 48 hours. It usually takes 3-5 working days to credit back to your account.

WHAT IF I HAVE A COMPLAINT?

Fishing Republic values its customer service but in the unfortunate instance that you may need to complain then there are several ways:  The quickest and easiest is to email your complaint to: support@fishingrepublic.com we will endeavour to answer all email complaints within 24hours. Fishing Republic prefers this method of communication as then we can keep a log on file everything that is said between the two parties (consumer and the Company).

We also have live chat on our website to contact us, this can also be used to communicate your complaints to us and again we aim to deal with the complaint within 24hours. If emailing is not possible then please feel free to contact a member of our team on 0800 808 5570, please state that you have a complaint, then you will be put through to our complaints department. If you feel that we have not dealt with your complaint appropriately and to a degree that is reasonable, then you have the right to refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

WHAT IS THE WARRANTY PERIOD?

Most manufactures offer a 12 month warranty period on all products, If your item develops a fault after 28 days of purchase please contact the manufacture to raise a warranty claim.

HOW DO YOU PLACE A FINANCE ORDER?

This option can be selected during the checkout process, the minimum value for a finance order is £300.

DO I HAVE TO HAVE AN ACCOUNT TO PLACE AN ORDER?

You do not have to create to account to place an order, but if you do you will be able to view order history, track your parcel, quicker checkout, Receive newletter.

CAN I USE MY LOAYATLY CARD POINTS ONLINE?

Unfortunately at the moment the Fishing Republic Loyalty scheme cannot be used online.
