Who Are Angling Trust?
Fishing Republic has recently partnered up with the amazing Angling Trust. They do great things for the environment and the waters you fish on, from preventing fish being taken, to campaigning for conservation. You can read more about them here.
How Do I Get The Free Licence?
From the 17th of December up to the 2nd of January 2022, Angling Trust are allowing anglers to bring a friend along to the waters to make some memories. With covid19 precautions coming into action once again, it’s a perfect time to enjoy quality time with friends and family in the great outdoors.
Anglers that already have a fishing licence will be able to get a free one-day licence for a friend, usually costing them £6, from the Environment Agency.
Take this opportunity to bring someone to the water that is either an avid angler, or someone who wants to get started out. It’s the perfect time to try out your new fishing gear from Santa, too!
